The Phone Number component is a text field with an input mask for phone numbers. By default the mask is (999) 999-9999, a US-style ten-digit number.
Change the format
On the Display tab, edit Input Mask. 9 stands for a digit; other characters are shown as typed. For example:
|
Format |

For numbers that don't fit one fixed pattern, such as international numbers of varying length, use a Text Field instead.
How the number is saved
The number is saved with the mask's punctuation. A user who types 2035550100 with the default mask saves (203) 555-0100. If another system needs digits only, remove the punctuation when mapping, or keep a digits-only copy with a calculated value such as value = (data.phone || '').replace(/\D/g, '');
Other settings
See Common Component Settings. Phone Number supports Required, Unique and Custom Error Message on the Validation tab. On phones, the field opens the number keypad.
