The Date / Time component lets users pick a date, a time, or both from a calendar. Use it for dates such as a start date, due date or date of birth.
For a date entered as separate day, month and year boxes, use Day. For a time only, use Time.

What is saved
The value is saved as a date and time in UTC, for example 2026-10-23T04:00:00.000Z for midnight on October 23 in US Eastern time. The date users see is in their own time zone.
-
In scripts, read it with
moment(data.startDate). See Working With Dates. -
When mapping to a PDF or another system, check the date appears in the format and time zone you expect.
