The Email component is a text field that checks the entry is a valid email address, such as jsmith@example.com. Use it for any email address on a form, and for the email field of a user resource.
Settings
Email has the same settings as a Text Field, including Multiple Values for several addresses and Unique to stop the same address being submitted twice. See Common Component Settings.
Leave the Kickbox option on the Validation tab turned off. It uses an outside email-checking service that GlobalForms doesn't support.
Things to know

The format check only confirms the address looks valid. It doesn't confirm the mailbox exists.
