Security updates in modern web browsers can prevent the GlobalSearch Grid View from receiving the refresh message after you update and close a document.
The GlobalSearch Web client is slated for deprecation and will not receive further fixes or updates. To resolve this issue, migrate to the GlobalSearch GO client; its architecture avoids the browser security limitation.

As a workaround, use the “Refresh” button shown in the screenshot whenever you return to the grid view after saving a document.
