Using the Konica Minolta bEST Connector outside of North America
Problem
The Square 9 device connector for Konica Minolta devices ships with a license for North American hardware. Hardware in Europe is region locked, and requires a separate key for licensed usage of the device's API.
Solution
A separate solutions key file is required for devices provisioned outside of North America. The updated solutions key can be downloaded here.
If all of the devices being leveraged with GlobalCapture are outside of North America, after installing the Scan Connector package, update the file here:
C:\inetpub\wwwroot\Square9ScanConnector\Registration\Konica\Resources
If you have devices both in and outside of North America, leave the default deployment alone, and make a copy of the website. Devices outside of North America should be configured to use the copy. Update the key file in the copy with the file provided above.
