The Check Box adds a single box users can tick, for a yes-or-no answer such as "I agree to the terms" or "Include spouse on policy". Its value is true when checked and false when unchecked.
To let users choose several options from a list, use Select Boxes. For one choice from a list, use Radio.

Using check boxes in rules
-
In a simple condition, set Has the value to
true(checked) orfalse(unchecked). -
In a script, test it directly:
if (data.agree) { … }orif (!data.agree) { … }.
See Show or Hide Components and Making Components Required or Disabled for examples.
Mapping a check box to a PDF
In the GlobalCapture form mapping designer, select the check box mark in the middle of the mapper (it turns yellow), then drag your field onto the mapping canvas. The field then prints as a check mark rather than as the word true.
