Sharing a Form

Every form has a link that opens it for users to fill in.

  1. On the designer home page, select View next to the form. The form opens in a new tab.

  2. Copy the address from that tab's address bar and share it, for example by email or on your intranet.

The link looks like https://forms.example.com/view/#!/form/<form ID>.

Before you share

  • Check access. On the form's Access tab, make sure the right roles can submit it. Add Anonymous to Create Own Submissions for a public form. See User Permissions.

  • Use HTTPS. Share the HTTPS address. See Configuring HTTPS.

  • Test as a user. Open the link in a private browser window to see the form as others will.

Add options to the end of the link to change how the form behaves:

?header=0

Form Link Display Options

?clearonsubmit=true

Submission Behaviors

?return=…

Combine options with &, for example ?header=0&clearonsubmit=true.

Forms in GlobalCapture workflows

If a form is part of a GlobalCapture workflow, GlobalCapture's validation node security also controls who can act on its submissions.
