GlobalCapture Templates are used to automate data extraction by defining areas on a document to extract information and associate it to GlobalCapture fields.

Templates cannot be used manually. They can only be applied in a GlobalCapture workflow using the Classify node.

Templates are file type specific and must be built on PDFs or TIFFs. Therefore, a GlobalCapture workflow that uses a template may need to include the convert node.

Templates are Dots Per Inch (DPI) specific. Scanning documents at a different DPI than the template may impact the results.

Template Licensing is checked when the template is applied in the workflow. Any template constructed with unlicensed features will not be applied. Ensure you understand what components you are licensed for before beginning construction.
