This section addresses how to upgrade GlobalCapture from a previous version, using the default settings. It covers upgrading GlobalCapture as a standalone application or in conjunction with GlobalSearch. You must have system administrator permissions to perform the upgrade.
Before beginning your upgrade, please refer to the Square 9 website for hardware and software requirements as requirements may change with version upgrades.
Upgrade GlobalSearch with GlobalCapture
The GlobalSearch enterprise content management application from Square 9® includes GlobalCapture. When performing an upgrade to GlobalCapture, make sure your GlobalSearch installation is on the latest Release Update.
