Version 2.2.0

GlobalAction Version 2.2.0 was released to market on February 10, 2020.  The 2.2.0 version is a minor version change that brings the product version number in parity with GlobalCapture.  In addition to versioning changes, 2.2.0 adds the ability for GlobalAction to operate on multiple servers in a single environment, allowing for limitless scaling.  Those familiar with deploying GlobalCapture in multi-server environments will find GlobalAction deployments strikingly similar.  2.2.0 also makes strides to unify the design experience between GlobalCapture and GlobalAction.  Workflow designers will find changes new to GlobalCapture like updates to Set Process Field nodes apply in GlobalAction as well.

Technical Details

As of version 2.2.0, GlobalAction is deployed with GlobalCapture.  This deployment shift simplifies GlobalSearch installations that do not have GlobalAction.  When installing / upgrading an installation with GlobalAction, the 2.2.0 GlobalCapture installation package will detect GlobalAction and automatically upgrade the environment to the latest version.
