The database update can be run manually. Note, the Capture upgrade manages the upgrade process by default. You do not need to perform any steps outlined here unless you seek to override out of the box behaviors.

When provided, all process records will be backed up in their unmodified form into a “backup” collection.

The schema upgrade tool may be found in the Capture API’s root website folder (c:\inetpub\wwwroot\Square9CaptureAPI) as Square9.CaptureAPI.SchemaUpgrader.exe.

Running the tool post upgrade will convert ALL processes from the history. Please note, this can be both time consuming and resource intensive. Depending on the size of your process collection, and the size of the document in that collection, varied performance metrics can be expected.
