Set Field Node

Use the Set Field Node to set Index Fields (except for Read Only or System Fields) automatically when a Workflow is run, instead of having to enter data manually.

Caution

When populating a Multi-Value Field with a Set Field Node, any existing values in the Field will be overwritten. It will not just append to the current values.

Drag a Set Field Node from the Nodes Pane to the Design Canvas. The Set Field Node Settings dialog box will appear. 

1. Enter a unique name for the Node in the Title text box.
2. Enter a description in the Description text box.
3. In Field, select from the list of all Index Fields for the database.
4. Enter a value for that Index Field in the Value text box.
   1. To access S9 Notations for field variables, type in a single brace, then select from the drop-down list.
      1. An error message will appear if the value type does not match the type specified for that Index Field
5. Click Save.
