This release update addresses an issue in the GlobalSearch browser client when attempting to scan directly to an Archive using GlobalSearch Extensions. After clicking the Scan button, users will receive the error "An error occured while scanning. Error connecting to Scan API." This issue only affects customer's whose GlobalSearch website is using SSL.
Please note there are legitimate reasons why a user might receive this error and before applying this release update, you should ensure your users are experiencing this specific problem.
Run the installer on the GlobalSearch server. No GlobalSearch client updates are required after applying this version. This will require a shutdown of the GlobalAction engine.
